I’m going to get very real right now.

Momma (me) needs to make some money. Biceps took a huge cut in pay to become a firefighter and our budget is getting tighter every month. If you know anything about me, you know that I am one seriously frugal girl. That said-I need a job and have been sending out resumes one right after another. This blog pays me diddly squat and being a self-employed writer is either feast or famine. And, as of yet, no one has offered to pay me to sit around looking cute. Dang them.

It’s Monday. Let’s have a laugh.

I work from home as a writer, so days of the week don’t really mean much to me anymore. But I do fondly remember the days of high heels, cubicles, four cups of coffee and an incessantly ringing phone. So, for those of you out there who might dread Mondays, here’s a reprieve.

Freddie Mercury & Darth Vader

Freddie has always had a soft spot in my heart. How could you not love a man with a dirty mustache, short shorts, and half a microphone stand?

I have seen numerous photos of the man-but never this particular one. It has been passed around by friend’s of friends. I think it’s time to highlight the awesomeness of Freddie riding Darth.

The photo pretty much speaks for itself.
